Auvik Integration Setup

How to connect Auvik to Junto for network monitoring and device visibility.

Updated today

Auvik Setup

Auvik is a cloud-based network monitoring platform. Once connected, Junto can look up network devices, check performance metrics, review alerts, and provide network topology context during ticket triage.

Prerequisites

  • An Auvik account with API access

  • Your Auvik account email and API key

  • Knowledge of your Auvik base URL (varies by region)

Step 1: Generate an API Key

See Auvik API Integration Guide for detailed instructions.

  1. Log in to Auvik and navigate to your user settings.

  2. Generate an API key for use with external integrations.

  3. Copy the API key.

Step 2: Configure in Junto

  1. In Junto, go to Settings > Integrations > Auvik.

  2. Click Add Configuration and fill in:

  3. Email -- Your Auvik account email.

  4. API Key -- The key from Step 1. This is encrypted before storage.

  5. Base URL -- Your Auvik API URL (e.g., https://auvikapi.us1.my.auvik.com for US or https://auvikapi.eu1.my.auvik.com for EU).

  6. Click Create. Junto validates the credentials before saving.

Step 3: Map Companies to Tenants

  1. After connecting, Junto lists available Auvik tenants from your account.

  2. Use the company mapping interface to link each Junto company to its Auvik tenant.

  3. Save mappings.

Auvik relies on a local collector installed at each client site. Device data is only available for sites where a collector is deployed and active.

Troubleshooting

  • Connection fails -- Verify your email, API key, and base URL. Ensure your Auvik account has API access enabled.

  • No tenants listed -- Confirm your account has access to the expected tenants.

  • Devices not found -- Check that the company mapping is correct and that the Auvik collector is online at the client site.

  • No performance data -- Ensure the device has been monitored long enough for Auvik to collect statistics.
