AFI.ai Integration Setup

How to connect AFI.ai to Junto for cloud backup monitoring and management.

Updated today

AFI.ai Setup

AFI.ai is a cloud backup and protection platform for Microsoft 365 and Google Workspace. Once connected, Junto's AI agent can monitor backup status, manage protections, and trigger on-demand backups for your clients.

Prerequisites

  • An AFI.ai account with API access

  • An API key from the AFI admin portal

  • Your AFI Organization ID

Step 1: Get API Credentials

See AFI Public API and Apps for detailed instructions.

  1. Log in to the AFI.ai admin portal.

  2. Navigate to your API settings and generate a new API key.

  3. Note your Organization ID.

Step 2: Configure in Junto

  1. In Junto, go to Settings > Integrations > AFI.ai.

  2. Click Add Configuration and fill in:

  3. API Key -- The key from Step 1. This is encrypted before storage.

  4. Organization ID -- Your AFI organization identifier.

  5. Click Create. Junto validates the connection by querying your AFI account.

Step 3: Map Companies

  1. Use the company mapping interface to link each Junto company to its AFI tenant.

  2. Save mappings.

Troubleshooting

  • Connection fails -- Verify your API key and Organization ID. Ensure the key has not been revoked.

  • No tenants listed -- Confirm the API key has access to tenants in your AFI organization.

  • Company not mapped -- Ensure the Junto company is linked to the correct AFI tenant in the mapping interface.
